Learn the key complexities of preserving and maintaining a high standard of fire safety in Ireland’s public buildings

There is a very high volume of public buildings in Ireland still requiring retrofitting to meet fire safety requirements is still high. Equally, retrofitting an existing building for fire safety is a far greater challenge compared with designing a new building, so what specifics do you need to know?

This one-day CPD certified course will take you through the key considerations in retrofitting for fire safety, including important standards and codes (including what you need to know from Part B of the Building Control Regulations). We will show you the key steps needed in creating practical solutions to unique problems that can arise on a project, and exactly what should be involved in the process of fire safety retrofitting. We will also explore and explain evacuation strategies in retrofitted building, and engage in a highly practical Q&A with our trainer, who is one of the leading fire safety experts in the country.

All attendees will receive a full course pack and a certificate for 5 structured CPD hours.
